It’s Day 11 of the Jeopardy Invitational Tournament! (The second of three semifinal games.) Here’s the full lineup for the JIT.
Larissa Kelly
I like this pale purple color! Larissa is wearing the same necklace she wore in the quarterfinals but I haven’t been able to identify it - maybe a four-petaled flower or a four-leaf shamrock?
Before this tournament, Larissa had appeared on Jeopardy in 17 games (counting the All-Stars team games.)
Andrew He
Andrew wore this outfit last year in the Masters tournament! I like the contrasting jewel tones.
I liked Andrew’s anecdote about his “JIT Stew” recipe (didn’t he talk about Minnesota Sushi in a previous anecdote? Is he a Jeopardy culinary influencer now?? I hope he turns the interview segment into a recipe blog from here on out.)
Before this tournament, Andrew had appeared in 24 Jeopardy games.
Sam Kavanaugh
Sam is sporting some eye-catching greenery tonight! This is actually a sprig of cedar from the family farm where he grew up. I think it’s really cool that Sam brought very intentional, meaningful accessories to the Jeopardy stage.
Sam’s sweater tonight is a repeat from his 2021 ToC-winning outfit (apparently he had a different sweater planned for tonight, but it was too textured and got rejected by the wardrobe department.)
Before this tournament, Sam had appeared in 10 games of Jeopardy.
Ken Jennings
When Ken wore this tie on Celebrity Jeopardy, someone asked me to track it down and I *think* we decided it was most likely this Joseph Abboud one.

JeoparDAY has passed, but if you’re planning to take the Anytime Test soon, I have some resources for you!
Jeopardy has a Youtube Playlist with previous contestant tests from 2017-2020. I recently put some time into creating this spreadsheet to grade my answers and check my score while practicing with those videos. Feel free to make a copy and use it for yourself! There is a separate tab for each video test.
watch the test video with the spreadsheet side-by-side
type your answers into the spreadsheet
when you're done, unhide the answer column
check the boxes for correct answers
the sheet will calculate your score (35+ is widely rumored to be "passing")
