It’s Day 2 of the Finals! Remember this is a “first to 3 wins” format, which means there will be anywhere from three to seven games played in total.
After that, we’ll move on to the JIT (Jeopardy! Invitational Tournament) featuring great players from Jeopardy! history. The lineup just dropped earlier today and it is INCREDIBLE.
I’m posting occasionally on various social media (mostly Instagram right now), but this newsletter is the best place to find daily recaps, photos, and announcements.
Yogesh Raut
Yogesh wore this dark red shirt in his quarterfinal game of this ToC. So far he has gone the Holzhauer route of wearing just a long-sleeved shirt without another layer (jacket, sweater, etc.) While that is likely more comfortable and simpler than the alternative, it does make it almost impossible to mix & match in the case of a longer series of games. I’m interested to see A) how many games this series goes, 2) how many shirts Yogesh brought and D) how he rotates them throughout the games.

Troy Meyer
The sweater king returns! I love that Troy’s anecdote featured the story of how he got this cardigan (you’ll have to watch to hear it!) I’m happy we get to see Troy’s fashionista side in this tournament. His outfits during his regular run were surely stylish but more in a “regular guy” vibe.
I, of course, immediately started sleuthing and found this one on eBay (it looks lighter in the listing photos, but that may be a trick of the lighting.)

Ben Chan
Ben’s wardrobe is a lot like Ray Lalonde’s or Cris Pannullo’s - a few shirts and a jacket or sweater. So far, we haven’t seen Ben in a sweater but he has worn this grey jacket several times. He did bring one new jacket for the ToC. It’s hard to plan a wardrobe where you might need 1 outfit or up to 9 outfits! Ben is sticking with what worked in his original run.

Ken Jennings
Another new tie for Ken! This one has an interesting diagonal color gradient, and I’m not 100% sure if it’s actually printed on the tie or if it’s just the cameras & lighting. He has been wearing more blue & purple ties lately, not a lot of red. So this is a nice addition to his rotation.
