Matt Brooks
This shirt keeps changing color every time I look at it, but I feel confident calling it a warm greyish shade (I’m getting hints of rosy/reddish on my screen.) It’s a nice color, even if I can’t accurately name it!
Chris Nichols
Chris paired a light blue dress shirt with a light navy suit. I like this suit color - it generally looks more interesting on screen than solid black. BUT I love to see a tie with this type of outfit!
Kelly Proulx
It has been forEVER since anyone wore orange on Jeopardy! It’s such a great shade with the blue Jeopardy background. Kelly paired her orange dress/top with a 3/4 sleeve black blazer. She is wearing a pendant, but it was covered by her hair for most of the show and I couldn’t identify what shape it is.
Ken Jennings
I always call this Ken’s “Barbie” tie, and it’s one of my favorites! He just debuted it near the end of last season, but he’s worn it 4 times so far in Season 40!
FJ Bumper
Make sure to pay attention during the commercial break before FJ, because about once a week they show us a fun new camera angle or behind-the-scenes shot! Tonight’s was another angle of the control room where the directors work all the technical magic that makes Jeopardy happen!
I just caught up with Inside Jeopardy! episodes, and listened to the May 13th episode featuring Director Russell Norman (wearing a white jacket in the above picture.) I always enjoy when they talk to Jeopardy staff and give us a peek “behind the curtain.”
Don’t forget to grab your “Jeopardy is a sport” shirts - just in time for the Summer Olympics (which don’t include Jeopardy… YET!)

If you’re planning to take the Anytime Test soon, I have some resources for you!
Jeopardy has a Youtube Playlist with previous contestant tests from 2017-2020. I recently put some time into creating this spreadsheet to grade my answers and check my score while practicing with those videos. Feel free to make a copy and use it for yourself! There is a separate tab for each video test.
watch the test video with the spreadsheet side-by-side
type your answers into the spreadsheet
when you're done, unhide the answer column
check the boxes for correct answers
the sheet will calculate your score (35+ is widely rumored to be "passing")
