Steve Crupi
I like how Steve used patterns to spice up his all-black outfit! The plaid pattern of the jacket barely shows up on screen so it’s kind of like an easter egg for those watching closely. His black and white striped tie contrasts with his solid black dress shirt.
Steve wore a striped tie in his first episode as well. (I thought Steve must be pretty tall because of how high up Jilana was boosted in this episode, and this photo confirms it: he’s a tall guy!) He also wore glasses in his initial run.
Jilana Cotter
So excited to see Jilana back after she won her week of Second Chance! She had some of the BEST jewelry during those episodes and her necklace tonight did not disappoint. This is such an intricate beaded design — Jilana tells me that it is a handmade piece from an artisan in her hometown. Also love her very cool moto-style jacket.
John Vigna
Did anyone else start absolutely sobbing during John’s anecdote? I love that he was able to include his grandmother’s scarf in his outfit as a pocket square! He paired it with a fantastic light blue jacket.
John was also rocking a fun manicure and jewelry on his buzzer hand, visible briefly during his anecdote.
John’s original appearance was quite different! He still had the mohawk but his hair was darker and he wore glasses and a patterned shirt and jacket.
Ken Jennings
I call this tie “blue cheerios” in my spreadsheet. (Ken looks skeptical.) He wore it twice in Season 38 and twice in Season 39.
