It’s Day 7 of the first 14-day segment (part one of the four-part Champions Wildcard.) That will last through December 18th and will feature 108 former champions (1, 2, and 3 day winners) from Season 37 and 38.
If that was a lot to digest, here’s a more visual explanation from the Jeopardy! website.
(This week will be a little odd because the 9th quarterfinal game wraps up on Thursday, so the semifinals will be Friday, Monday, and Tuesday. I’ll be continuing to publish all my full recaps right here on Substack, and maybe or maybe not posting on social media (links on my Linktree).
Everybody’s vibes tonight are impeccable!!
Morgan Briles
What a great print! The large scale and vivid colors make it really pop on screen. (She mentioned how high up she was on the podium and judging by how much of her black skirt/pants are visible, she is boosted about as high as it will go!)
I searched and could not find this exact print but I did come across this “Pretty in Paradise” print that is similar in style.
Joe Velasco
I don’t think everybody can pull off a short-sleeved shirt on Jeopardy, but Joe is rocking this! (I noticed but couldn’t identify the tiny logo on the left chest.)
Also happy that Joe got to mention his work with Diversify Ice during his anecdote - very cool (pun intended!)
Robert Kaine
This should win Robert best-dressed at the next Jeopardy! Honors, in my opinion!! An amazing concept and execution, the pocket square is just next level!
Beyond the Lego aspect, this is just a good outfit - the red suit & black tie combo is reminiscent of Buzzy’s outfit at the 2022 Jeopardy Honors ceremony
EDIT: Robert posted a tutorial on how to make the Lego tie!
Ken Jennings
This tie drives me crazy because Ken either has worn this tie several times, or he has several very similar ties! I’m leaning toward all the same tie and my screenshots just vary slightly in color but more research is needed!
