I’m posting my recaps both here and on Twitter for the time being. If you miss any, you can find the entire archive on the homepage.
There will be spoilers by the end of this recap, so don’t read if you haven’t watched yet!
Cris Pannullo
Cris is wearing his black dress shirt for the 4th time - he usually wears it on Wednesdays but he switched up his routine this week. I think he looks very nice in a darker shirt color like this! I think at this point we won’t be seeing any new shirts from Cris, but I think a James Holzhauer jewel-tone spectrum of dress shirts (sapphire, emerald, ruby) would work well for Cris too.
Rob Lamanna
Rob looks good but went for the "no flair" look which I have gently criticized in the past. However, LOOPHOLE: he is Canadian so my "rules" don't apply. Also the shirt looks purplish, so he gets credit for color!
Side note: Rob played so well but I'm sad that he was at Podium 2. Podium 3 contestants were giving Cris a run for his money this week, and I wanted to make a joke about “What’s Corina putting in the water bottle at Podium 3?” but now it doesn't work!
Jeri Zulli
I GASPED!! This scarf is so so beautiful and it is perfect with the green cardigan. I like how large the scarf is, with the large scale print, it looks fantastic on TV. (Also I really like how she did her hair to one side.)
Ken Jennings
I am loving all Ken’s ties lately! I still have to catch up on cataloguing them all but this is a really pretty shade of blue and I like the contrasting diamond shapes. I’d love to see more floral/abstract prints but he sticks mainly to geometric.
During Cris’s contestant anecdote Monday, he mentioned buying a house and Ken joked that they should start showing Zillow listings along with his winnings. I couldn’t resist this idea, so here’s what Cris can buy in Ocean City, NJ tonight (I’m ignoring taxes and the fact that he might not want to spend his winnings all in one place.)
