Have you missed me?? I had big plans to write all sorts of interesting Jeopardy! articles during the summer hiatus but instead I just… didn’t.
I’m excited about this season, and also looking forward to Pop Culture Jeopardy! I have heard rumors of some excellent outfit choices in store for that.
People often ask how they can support my work. (Just kidding, nobody asks that!) But I do greatly appreciate all the customers of my Etsy store, as well as the handful of paid subscribers (which helps fund my Paramount+ subscription to watch Jeopardy!)
Rachel Bradley
Rachel looked SO beautiful tonight! The jacket matches the dress perfectly (and that pink belt to match the flowers!) Her necklace looks like a fancy cursive R to me, but I never got a totally clear look at it.
Adam Reiffen
I like seeing military members wear their uniforms on Jeopardy, because 1) they look sharp and 2) I get to go down a rabbit hole learning about the uniform elements!
According to Wikipedia, this is the Summer White Service uniform, which is worn with white pants and white shoes. The shoulder boards indicate that Adam is a Lieutenant Commander.
I’ve tried to identify all the award ribbons - feel free to correct me if I have made a mistake! His marksmanship ribbons have an E device on them for Expert marksmanship.
Amanda White
This is an eye-catching sweater! I love the geometric design and the short-sleeved style. I also noticed Amanda’s pearl drop earrings.
The sweater is from Ann Taylor, though sadly sold out at the moment.
I thought Amanda’s anecdote was a shocking choice to set the tone as the first anecdote of Season 41! I did some sleuthing and believe I figured out who the story was referring to. Here’s a link to the Wikipedia article for those curious. (And hopefully this is the only time “Jeopardy hall monitor serial killer” gets this many google searches.)
Ken Jennings
This is a great start to the season!! This floral tie is one of my favorites, and I love how his shirt coordinates perfectly with the flowers.
FJ Bumper
I almost missed this during the commercial break!! We got a wide shot of the entire control room - how cool!! Left to right I see Associate Director Chloe Corwin, someone I haven’t been able to identify yet, Director Russell Norman, and Technical Director Lucinda Owens Margolis.
If you haven’t looked at my Etsy store lately, you might be surprised to see I added several new items over the summer! Many of these are customizable and make a great gift for a Jeopardy fan or contestant.

If you’re planning to take the Anytime Test soon, I have some resources for you!
Jeopardy has a Youtube Playlist with previous contestant tests from 2017-2020. I recently put some time into creating this spreadsheet to grade my answers and check my score while practicing with those videos. Feel free to make a copy and use it for yourself! There is a separate tab for each video test.
watch the test video with the spreadsheet side-by-side
type your answers into the spreadsheet
when you're done, unhide the answer column
check the boxes for correct answers
the sheet will calculate your score (35+ is widely rumored to be "passing")
This is interesting, we have no changes on Jeopardy set on season 41 premiere, the game was taped on May 29, 2024. They're sticking with season 40 on Jeopardy. Wow.
