Today is the seventh of nine quarterfinal games in the ToC, and you can see the full lineup here on the Jeopardy! website.
I’m posting occasionally on various social media (mostly Instagram right now), but this newsletter is the best place to find daily recaps, photos, and announcements.
Ray Lalonde
I love Ray! His voice is so soothing and he seems like a real sweetheart. He’s dressed similarly to his original run in a dark red shirt, but this time he’s wearing a grey suit instead of black.
He also has a lapel pin I can’t quite identify, but it looks like an anatomically correct heart to me??
In his original run, Ray wore 5 different shirts with a black suit or a grey sweater.
Shoutout to Ray’s twin brother in the audience - hope to see him on Jeopardy soon!
Melissa Klapper
Melissa’s tie-front shirt is so cool! She wore a variety of colors in her original run, and this dark red is a nice addition.
Ike Barinholtz
Ike may be the person I was most excited to see come back for the tournament of champions, and this game sure did not disappoint! His outfit is a little casual (I think he’s also wearing jeans), but celebrities are allowed to wear whatever they want, so no shade!
My favorite outfit of his during Celebrity Jeopardy was the preppy shirt & sweater look from the semifinals.
Loved seeing the shot of his mom and dad in the audience! (Who else recognized his dad as the judge from Jury Duty?)
Ken Jennings
Ken has added several new ties recently! I FEEL like he debuts more new ties during ToC than other times, but I may have to run the numbers on that.
Judges are working hard with Michael Davies at the head of the table.
So, fun fact, back in 2014 I took a free online Coursera course called The Science of the Solar System, which was taught by none other than Mike Brown! It was so interesting and I highly recommend it if you want to learn about planets.
I’ve been challenging myself to take all my lists of ideas and actually CREATE some of them instead of just constantly adding to the list and then deciding they are all dumb.
