It’s Day 4 of the Jeopardy Invitational Tournament! (The 4th of 9 Quarterfinal games.) Here’s the full lineup for the JIT.
I am SO excited to see these iconic contestants, some of whom I GREW UP watching, back on the Jeopardy! stage!
Celeste DiNucci
Celeste’s purple hair is so cool! This shirt is a great color - you can’t see in this photo but it has bell sleeves (flared from the elbow to wrist.)
You can see the sleeves in her “opera singing” pose photo with Ken.
I don’t have a lot of Celeste’s previous episode outfits, but here are a few! Looks like she wore a lot of patterns in shades of red.
Pluto.tv currently has Celeste’s Tournament of Champions (Ep #5327) and Battle of the Decades (Ep #6806) available on demand (free, with ads.)
Austin Rogers
This is one of the only times Austin has not worn a tie on Jeopardy! In his original run, he usually wore a patterned (often plaid) shirt with a tie & jacket. Tonight, he has a plaid jacket instead. He has mostly shaved his beard, but his hair is still a little wild like in his original games.
The corduroy/velvet jacket is the one I think of as his trademark style, but he wore several other ones too.
I also grabbed this collage of his first 12 episodes…
from this Youtube video on Jeopardy’s page.
Pluto.tv currently has Austin’s original run (starting with Ep # 7597) available on demand (free, with ads.)
Amy Schneider
Amy always has great colorful blazers & blouses! I believe she wore this periwinkle blazer previously on Masters, but with a different shirt/dress. And she always has her signature pearls!
I had a LOT of screenshots of Amy’s previous outfits, but here’s an assorted selection from her original run, 2022 ToC, and 2023 Masters.
Ken Jennings
Ken has about 3 ties that are very similar and I can’t always tell apart. I like the lavender shirt with this!
JeoparDAY is coming up and if you’re planning to take the Anytime Test, I have some resources for you!
Jeopardy has a Youtube Playlist with previous contestant tests from 2017-2020. I recently put some time into creating this spreadsheet to grade my answers and check my score while practicing with those videos. Feel free to make a copy and use it for yourself! There is a separate tab for each video test.
watch the test video with the spreadsheet side-by-side
type your answers into the spreadsheet
when you're done, unhide the answer column
check the boxes for correct answers
the sheet will calculate your score (35+ is widely rumored to be "passing")
New shirt alert - Jeopardy is a Sport!!
