Stephen Webb - Day 5
Stephen is wearing his blue sweater from Day 1 and his grey shirt from Day 2, so we’ve reached the mix & match stage already! Yesterday was the only day so far that he wore a tie.
Roy Camara
Man, Roy is a good player!! I still dislike quarter zips but I’m gonna say something nice about this one anyways - it has an interesting texture on the shoulders! And I like his lavender shirt.
I don’t mind quarter zips AS much when they’re a sweater texture like this (as opposed to a fleece - save those for hiking!!) but I’m picky about how the necklines look when layered over a collared shirt (this one is also not terrible in that regard since the sweater collar isn’t as high as some of the more outdoorsy styles.) But I feel like cardigan, crewneck, or v-neck sweaters have better, cleaner lines.
Karen Rittenbach
What a lovely lady!! Great color combos - I feel like 90% of contestants would have worn a black sweater with this pink shirt so I LOVE her choice to go with a contrasting burgundy. Fun scarf and cute braided hairstyle!
Ken Jennings
I like when Ken wears this blue suit with the pink shirt. This tie was new for Season 39 - Ken wore it on 11/21/22. While Ken was taking a break from hosting, I finally got caught up on my tie spreadsheet - here’s a peek at the magic.
