Because of the taping schedule this season, there weren’t any set changes at the beginning of the season. BUT today’s episode (the first taped after the summer hiatus) debuted a new look!
The podiums got a small update (changed the starry sky design on the sides to a blue-white ombre), and the floor has some changes as well. The biggest change is the new clue board! Though it doesn’t look much different on TV, the board is now one single screen and it apparently provides a much better view of video clues for the contestants in studio!
Eamonn Campbell
This is a great suit! Looks like something Ken would wear hosting.
Eamonn’s anecdote mentioned curling, which sounded very familiar… Robert on last Wednesday’s show also talked about curling in his anecdote.
Jack Swansey
Jack is wearing a navy button-down with a pocket.
Caryn Radick
This is a cute asymmetrical necklace and I love Caryn’s blue and red color combo! Her outfit also has fun details like a slightly gathered neckline and a tied belt on the blazer (or maybe it’s a jumpsuit? We need full-length outfit views!)
Ken Jennings
Ken got a new position (or maybe just a new camera angle) for his show intro - his lectern is usually not visible in this shot.
Ken also gets to roam freely around the contestant podiums - which includes a slightly precarious backwards walk between anecdotes!
There was a new-ish promo for the Inside Jeopardy! podcast during commercials today. It sounded like mainly the same voiceover but added a few new clips featuring new co-host Sam Buttrey and a mention of the Jeopardy live events around the country!
If you’re shopping for a gift or a souvenir of your Jeopardy! experience, I have customizable mug (and shirt and blanket and pillow and tote bag) designs in my Etsy shop!

If you’re planning to take the Anytime Test soon, I have some resources for you!
Jeopardy has a Youtube Playlist with previous contestant tests from 2017-2020. I recently put some time into creating this spreadsheet to grade my answers and check my score while practicing with those videos. Feel free to make a copy and use it for yourself! There is a separate tab for each video test.
watch the test video with the spreadsheet side-by-side
type your answers into the spreadsheet
when you're done, unhide the answer column
check the boxes for correct answers
the sheet will calculate your score (35+ is widely rumored to be "passing")
