I can’t believe it’s the LAST DAY of Season 40! I probably won’t be posting much during the next 6 weeks of reruns.
Reruns, from what I’ve heard, should be 3 weeks of the last ToC followed by 3 weeks of the Jeopardy Invitational Tournament. The new season starts September 9th.
Davey Morrison
I LOVE this cable knit cardigan! Look at those chunky buttons! Also interesting that the colors are the inverse of yesterday’s outfit.

Steve Babish
Steve’s outfit uses two eye-catching plaid patterns. I like that you can really see the plaid on his jacket (Ken has a darker navy suit with a similar plaid and it doesn’t always show up clearly on screen.) Very nice look.
Rachel Bradley
Beautiful bright red blazer! She looks amazingly professional in this & having the blazer buttoned in the front pulls the outfit together so cleanly.
Ken Jennings
I’ll try to post some stats soon about how many ties Ken wore this season! I don’t have my full numbers caught up at the moment.
If you were a contestant on this unique & historic season, make sure you get your (un)official Season 40 Alumni shirt to commemorate your experience. It has all the names on the back of the shirt (including Second Chance, WildCard, ToC, JIT, and Celebrity)
If you’re planning to take the Anytime Test soon, I have some resources for you!
Jeopardy has a Youtube Playlist with previous contestant tests from 2017-2020. I recently put some time into creating this spreadsheet to grade my answers and check my score while practicing with those videos. Feel free to make a copy and use it for yourself! There is a separate tab for each video test.
watch the test video with the spreadsheet side-by-side
type your answers into the spreadsheet
when you're done, unhide the answer column
check the boxes for correct answers
the sheet will calculate your score (35+ is widely rumored to be "passing")
