Suzanne Goldlust
Lovely navy and white floral print and stunning bright red blazer. I appreciate that in both of Suzanne's outfits, her shirt and blazer are both interesting. Many people find a fun piece and pair it with something neutral… but if you have the fashion skills to pull it off, combos like this take your outfit to the next level!
A few updates on Suzanne’s outfit last night:
Suzanne gave me a tip on last night's blazer - the brand is Kasper but it's from several years ago. You can search resale sites like Poshmark, eBay, Mercari for "Kasper Geometric Blazer" - I found one on Etsy & one on ThredUp
Suzanne’s friend tweeted that the pendant is made of fused glass and that Suzanne made it herself!
Ben Goldstein
Ben’s shirt and jacket are nicely textured, but I think the star of his outfit is the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel pin!
(I did some light Facebook stalking hoping this meant Ben had pictures of a cute dog posted somewhere and I was not disappointed!)
Also his jacket has elbow patches which is such a vibe (as the kids say.)
Erica Rapheal
We are blessed with two floral prints in one night! This yellow and grey color scheme is beautiful! I'm so curious about her earrings… I thought at first they might be viruses because epidemiology but they look like half-filled circles with triangles dangling from the bottom. Any ideas?
Mayim Bialik
This is a nice swirly blouse! I always like seeing prints on Jeopardy!, but recently have been leaning toward maybe preferring Mayim in mostly solids and plaids. But this is steering me back to the pro-print side! Hair is up in a bun (from a ponytail last night.)
I was flummoxed by Mayim’s pronunciation of IKEA as “ee-KAY-uh” and had too Google it. According to this Mental Floss article, that’s the Swedish way to say it but the commercials in America pronounce it “eye-KEE-uh” so it’s odd that they made her say it the Swedish way?
