I’m posting my recaps both here and on Twitter for the time being. If you miss any, you can find the entire archive on the homepage.
Ray Lalonde - Day 12
Ray wore this grey (greenish?) shirt on Day 2 & 7 with the black blazer. This is only the 2nd time he has wore the grey sweater (worn Day 3 with the maroon shirt.)
Kristin Jacobsen
Stunning bright pink ensemble! (Glad she did not get paired up with Rachel from last night - wardrobe often will make people change outfits if contestants in the same game match too closely.) I noticed she is wearing pearls, though you can’t see them well with the collared neckline of her shirt.
Isaac Rabbani
This blazer is a nice silvery grey. I like the color of his dress shirt too, though it seems like a chambray or similar material that is not quite as crisp as the jacket.
Ken Jennings
Ken previously wore this tie on 10/28/22. He also has a very similar grey & black print tie!
Could not believe “What is Lunch Lady?” was a triple stumper!
Personal story time: When I had a Zoom audition for Jeopardy! in 2021, I worked in the cafeteria at my kids’ school and put my occupation as “lunch lady” on my Jeopardy! application. John Barra LOVED it and asked me about tater tots and pretty much made me feel like a rock star (I know that’s, like, his job… but he’s VERY good at it!) The whole audition process was worth it just for that moment, even though I didn’t get called to be a contestant. (I don’t work in the cafeteria anymore so sadly I’ll have to retire the lunch lady label for my next audition.)
Wow, last episode of 2022! It has been quite a year. Big thanks to everyone for subscribing, reading, tweeting, commenting, DMing, and generally supporting my very niche content. A year ago I could never imagine the amazing opportunities and friendships Jeopardy! would bring me in 2022 (and a ten-fold increase in Twitter followers, but who’s counting?)
I saw this tweet today and it made me think about how many good things are in my life right now because I got weirdly obsessed with Matt Amodio’s shirts in the summer of 2021. Embrace your weird!
See you next year!
